As an API Developer at Tekfortune Inc., you will be instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable Application Programming Interfaces. This role requires a strong understanding of API architectures, development best practices, and the ability to integrate various systems seamlessly. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API specifications, build efficient and secure endpoints, and ensure the overall reliability and performance of our integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and other integration solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Build and test API endpoints, ensuring functionality, security, and performance.
• Work with various data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Implement API documentation using tools like Swagger or OpenAPI.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API integrations.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest API development trends and technologies.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for API deployments.
• Work effectively within agile development methodologies.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in designing and developing APIs.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, Node.js, or similar.
• Understanding of API security principles and implementation (e.g., OAuth 2.0).
• Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• A proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies.
