Cloud Senior Architect

Mindlance is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Cloud Senior Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure and solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and a proven track record of architecting scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on technical skills to guide our development teams and drive our cloud-first initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and design robust and scalable cloud solutions on AWS, aligning with business requirements and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams on cloud architecture, design patterns, and implementation strategies.
• Define and implement cloud security best practices, ensuring compliance and data protection.
• Design and deploy infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
• Lead the migration of existing applications and services to the cloud.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance our capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define cloud strategies and roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place and tested.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proven ability to architect and deploy highly scalable and resilient applications in the cloud.
• Strong knowledge of various AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, Serverless technologies).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Solid understanding of cloud security concepts and implementation.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools in a cloud environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
