The Restoration Supervisor at BluSky plays a crucial role as a leader and coordinator on property damage incidents. This position oversees the work of Restoration Technicians, ensuring efficient and effective mitigation of damage in both residential and commercial settings. The Restoration Supervisor is responsible for guiding water damage remediation efforts, managing structural stabilization and security measures, coordinating on-site cleaning operations, overseeing microbial remediation processes, organizing content pack-outs, managing content processing and deodorization, supervising content storage solutions, and ensuring the proper handling of affected belongings.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise water extraction and drying procedures.
  • Manage fire and smoke damage cleaning and restoration projects.
  • Oversee and implement microbial remediation protocols.
  • Coordinate the clean-up of vandalism, crime scenes, and biohazard situations.
  • Supervise demolition activities as required.
  • Provide direct field leadership and comprehensive supervision of all restoration technicians and temporary labor.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service with a focus on empathy and understanding.
  • Manage project workflows, schedules, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Conduct site inspections and assess damage to develop appropriate restoration plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures on all job sites.
  • Train and mentor restoration technicians on best practices and quality standards.
  • Handle any other related duties or projects as assigned to support the overall restoration process.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to successfully pass a thorough national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Availability to be on-call 24 hours a day to respond to emergency situations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the restoration industry, with some supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards for water, fire, and mold remediation.
  • Ability to interpret and implement restoration plans and protocols.
  • Proficiency in using industry-related equipment and technologies.

The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds. TRAVEL:

Moderate travel may be required. (Approximately 25% - 50% of the time.) This may include local travel to job sites as well as some out-of-area and overnight travel for training, meetings, or to support projects in other locations.

COMPENSATION:

BluSky offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $85,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package including: a matching 401(k) plan, comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, and vision coverage), paid time off accrual, paid holidays, short-term and long-term disability benefits, provision of equipment necessary for the role (e.g., laptop, smartphone), and a corporate apparel allowance.
