Accountant Senior

Job Description:

Mindlance is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant Senior to become a vital part of our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, contributing significantly to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing various accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and file tax returns and other statutory reports accurately and on time.
• Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to management for decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve any discrepancies.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, as needed.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Solid experience in managing general ledger functions and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
