Vaco is seeking a results-oriented and dynamic Business Development Director to drive growth and expand our market presence within the [Specify Industry or Vertical, e.g., technology staffing, healthcare solutions]. Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and untapped opportunities within the [Specify Industry or Vertical]. Analyze competitive landscapes and develop strategic approaches to gain market share.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Proactively identify, target, and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers at prospective client organizations. Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that articulate Vaco's value proposition and address client needs.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation and closure.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with complementary organizations to expand Vaco's reach and service offerings within the [Specify Industry or Vertical].
  • Revenue Growth & Forecasting: Take ownership of revenue growth within the assigned market. Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress and potential challenges.
  • Collaboration & Internal Alignment: Work closely with Vaco's internal teams, including recruitment, delivery, and marketing, to ensure seamless client service and effective solution delivery.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline development. Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and market insights.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role within the [Specify Industry or Vertical, e.g., staffing, consulting]. A proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and online research tools.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen, strategic thinking abilities, and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
